Kalgidhar Trust announces free education for the children of martyred farmers

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—The Kalgidhar Trust Baru Sahib has announced to provide free education to the children of farmers who have lost lives during the ongoing agitation. To date, more than 30 farmers have lost lives while agitating against the Indian government seeking repealing of recently introduced laws pertaining to the procurement of farm produces. A spokesperson of the Kalgidhar Trust Baru Sahib informed that they have decided to ensure availability of education till secondary level to the children of all those farmers who have lost lives in this ongoing agitation.
It is pertinent to note here that the Kalgidhar Trust Baru Sahib is already providing free education to around 28,000 children of economically weak section of society including the farmers who committed suicide while enduring unbearable financial hardships.
The Kalgidhar Trust Baru Sahib has always kept its focus to impart education to the next generation.
