300,000 Sikh yatrees be able to perform rituals at Kartarpur
LAHORE: More than 300,000 Sikh yatrees will be able to perform their religious rituals after extension of historical gurdwara Kartarpur, Narowal.
This was informed by Evacuee Trust Property Board Secretary Tariq Wazir while talking to the media persons on the Kartarpur Corridor arrangements here Wednesday. He said that earlier, only 10,000 to 15,000 Sikh yatrees could perform their rituals. He added that the phase one of the project would be completed on the occasion of the 550th birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
He said the boundary wall of Gurdwara Kartarpur besides entrance and exit points of the area were being constructed according to the historical architecture and in line with the directions of Minister for Religious Affairs Pir Noorul Haq Qadri.
He said that an area of the Darbar premises was being extended by 300-feet from the existing boundary. He added that no building or wall would be demolished for extension of the Darbar Kartarpur.
